After the satisfaction met by the management of this well known company in the world of Tiles, without forgetting the architects and "facility manager", of the CARIMAR company, located in Braine l'Alleud, our new mission was to create an athomsphere adapted to this new point of sales located in Malmédy.
The challenge was very interesting considering the data received to solve this equation.
The visibility of the surfaces, both inside and outside, caught our full attention. We also had to pay attention to the total budget, which led us to study a more classical concept of track-mounted projectors, while playing subtly with the angles of the beams. Color intensity and rendering play a predominant role. There is no point in overexposing a work of art as much as a wall surface made of the most beautiful Italian mosaics...
The main facade and its visuals are highlighted by "asymmetrical" beamlines from the Italian manufacturer LINEALIGHT, located in the Venice area.
The rails and projectors come from the same manufacturer. For the fine-tuning of one of the zones, we have entrusted the task to small projectors from the manufacturer BRUCK equipped with lamp SORAA 9°, 3.000°K & 4.000°K, some of them equipped with filters and anti-glare honeycomb grid.
The entrance with "its decompression zone" welcomes two luminous sculptures designed by the architect Zaha Hadid. This creation is produced by the Italian manufacturer SLAMP located in Rome.
The meeting room presents a creation of the architect Liebeskind also produced by the company SLAMP.
Out of the box lighting fixtures from the collection KARMAN combined with the general lighting of the common areas brings the desired surprise. These commons present a sink that needed to be cared for by a precise light approach. For this, we opted for a solution using dynamic white light with the MARS IQ WHITE profile from the German manufacturer LED LINEAR. Some small ceiling lights, the CRANNY of the German manufacturer BRUCK, completed the zone.

We have been selected to develop a lighting concept for the CARIMAR showrooms, located in Braine l'Alleud.
The challenge was great given the particular configuration and the very low height of the rooms.
We opted for a solution using dynamic light in white shades for the lighting of the exhibition areas with the MARS IQ WHITE profile from the German manufacturer LED LINEAR.
A more decorative approach was given to the two meeting rooms where we used the originality and flexibility of the SATTLER FAVO system and a custom-made, oval-shaped luminaire produced by the Dutch company ARCHILUMO. This OVAL XL luminaire is equipped with white leds providing a very warm light from 2.200°K to 6.500°K.
For the fine-tuning of one of the zones, we entrusted the task to small projectors from the manufacturer BRUCK equipped with SORAA 9°, 3.000°K and 4.000°K lamps, some of them equipped with filters and anti-glare honeycomb grid.
We brought blue sky and sunshine 365 days a year to the reception counter by installing a luminous sky from the Italian manufacturer COELUX.
A cocktail of 8 brands to achieve the total satisfaction of the client.
This success was crowned at an opening cocktail party. The specialised press of the tile sector mentioned us in their article and we thank them for it.
Following this first realization, we were given the mission to build the showroom in Malmédy, which will open very soon...

ROB, a well-known store in Brussels. One of the jewels of quality products distribution was given a makeover in 2019 and we were privileged to be part of it!
Rob is part of the Carrefour group. They gave the lighting concept mission to ACTLD to rethink light in its forms and functions.
We had the pleasure of bringing our lighting solutions to this concept. A lot of attention has been paid to areas that have been neglected until now. You will discover both technical and decorative solutions where the visual comfort of both staff and customers is respected, without forgetting the functional side of this light.

A brand specialized in the sale of mountain goods, dedicated to nature lovers. Lecomte is the practice and experience of hiking, climbing and mountaineering reflected in two 400m2 stores in Brussels and Waterloo and via an online shop.
Mr Lecomte with his interior architect, Clélia Cantillon, entrusted us with the study and the light concept.
We used a combination of 4 of our brands namely:
• VICE LIGHTING with their cut-off wall washer.
• LINEAR LEDs with their LYRA.
• MULLAN LIGHTING with BRUSSELS suspensions in the red colour of the Lecomte logo.
• LINEALIGHT for rails and projectors without forgetting a few "architectural" devices from the MA&DE and TRADDEL ranges.

A new light approach where only one LED source must bring the "right and adapted" light on the preparation areas.
An identical light, which does not disguise food while presenting them under the most precise lights.
A response to this expectation has been found by Hugo Neumann with the help of one of our partners L3K-Alphaled.

Brillenmarkt is, for more 30 years, a great asset in Schuttershofstraat in Antwerp. The main advantages of the store are their offer of high-quality glasses, the quality service and an informal atmosphere.
These qualities were revealed by the company INTERIEUR DEWAIDE with a new interior design. In close cooperation with this specialist of the interior design, our partner CONE LIGHTING developed a light concept which reflects the strong personality of Brillenmarkt. Discreet light fittings and strong contrasts underline this informal atmosphere. All the lamps are equipped with a last generation led technology from the producer SORAA, color temperature of 3000°K, warm white, high CRI of 95 without forgetting a very high stability SDCM from 2 to 3. Like that the interior design is strengthened. The total power installed is of 1.5kW.
